🍽️ Creamy Potato and Savoy Cabbage Gratin

Ingredients
- 800 g Savoy cabbage
- 700 g waxy potatoes
- 400 ml milk (1.5% fat)
- 400 ml vegetable broth
- 2 eggs
- salt
- pepper
- nutmeg
- 5 g butter (1 tsp)
- 50 g Gouda
Instructions
- 1. Remove the hard stems from the savoy cabbage and cut the leaves into thin strips.
- 2. Peel the potatoes, wash them, and slice them into thin rounds.
- 3. Whisk the milk, broth, and eggs together in a bowl.
- 4. Season the liquid with salt, pepper, and freshly grated nutmeg.
- 5. Grease a baking dish with some butter.
- 6. Layer the savoy cabbage and potato slices alternately in the dish.
- 7. Start the layering with the cabbage and finish with a layer of potatoes.
- 8. Pour the egg-milk mixture evenly over the vegetables.
- 9. Grate the Gouda cheese over the top.
- 10. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (convection 180 degrees or gas mark 3).
- 11. Bake the gratin for 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown.
