🍽️ Crispy Potato Sticks

Ingredients
- 1.5 kg waxy potatoes
- 2 tbsp flour
- coarse salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 0.5 tsp paprika powder
- vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Cut the potatoes lengthwise into even sticks.
- 3. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- 4. Add the potato sticks to the boiling water.
- 5. Cook the sticks for 6 to 8 minutes.
- 6. Drain the water and let the sticks drain well.
- 7. Gently dry the sticks with kitchen paper.
- 8. Lightly dust the dry sticks with flour.
- 9. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan to 170 degrees Celsius.
- 10. Fry the potato sticks for 3 to 4 minutes until golden yellow.
- 11. Remove the sticks from the oil and let them drain on kitchen paper.
- 12. Season the hot sticks with salt, pepper, and paprika powder.
- 13. Serve the sticks hot with your favorite dip or ketchup.
