  4. 4. Rinse the meat under running water.
  5. 5. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
  6. 6. Cut the meat into thin strips.
  7. 7. Place the potato cubes, parsnip pieces, and meat strips into a small pot.
  8. 8. Pour 100 milliliters of water into the pot.
  9. 9. Bring the contents of the pot to a boil.
  10. 10. Reduce the heat to a low setting.
