🍽️ Crispy Frittata with Potatoes and Chard

Ingredients
- 400 g potatoes
- 200 g chard
- 6 eggs
- 125 ml milk
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- butter
- olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
- 2. Boil the potatoes with the skin on in salted water until cooked through.
- 3. Let the potatoes cool down.
- 4. Peel the cooled potatoes.
- 5. Slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
- 6. Clean and wash the chard.
- 7. Boil the chard for 4 to 5 minutes in boiling salted water (blanching means cooking briefly in boiling water).
- 8. Remove the chard from the water.
- 9. Drain the water from the chard.
- 10. Cut the chard into thin strips.
- 11. Whisk the eggs in a bowl.
- 12. Add the milk to the egg mixture.
- 13. Season the egg mixture generously with salt and pepper.
- 14. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan.
- 15. Add 2 tablespoons of oil to the melted butter.
- 16. Fry the potato slices until golden brown over high heat.
- 17. Stir the chard into the potatoes.
- 18. Fry the chard briefly.
- 19. Pour the egg mixture over the potato and chard mixture.
- 20. Fry the frittata for about 2 minutes on the first side until golden brown.
- 21. Turn the frittata carefully using a large plate.
- 22. Fry the frittata for about 2 minutes on the second side until golden brown.
- 23. Remove the frittata from the pan.
- 24. Cut the frittata into pieces.
- 25. Serve the frittata hot.
