🍽️ Creamy Potato Watercress Mash

Ingredients
- 1 kg floury potatoes
- 0.25 l milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- salt
- 1 box cress
Instructions
- 1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes.
- 2. Place the potato cubes into a pot.
- 3. Cover the potatoes with just enough water to barely submerge them.
- 4. Add a pinch of salt to the water.
- 5. Cook the potatoes for 15 minutes until they are tender.
- 6. Drain the cooking water.
- 7. Heat the milk in a small saucepan.
- 8. Press the warm potatoes through a potato ricer directly into the warm milk.
- 9. Whisk the mixture vigorously with a whisk until creamy.
- 10. Season the mash to taste with salt.
- 11. Stir in the butter until it has melted and combined.
- 12. Trim the fresh watercress from the stems.
- 13. Gently fold the watercress into the mash or use it as a garnish on top.
