Ingredients
- 4 sprigs parsley
- 1 carrot
- 600 g mashed potatoes
- 150 g spelt whole wheat flour
- 1 egg
- salt
- pepper
- paprika powder
- 0.25 tsp oregano (dried)
- 300 g Greek yogurt
Instructions
- 1. Wash the parsley thoroughly.
- 2. Shake the parsley dry.
- 3. Pluck the leaves off the stems.
- 4. Finely chop the parsley leaves.
- 5. Peel the carrot.
- 6. Rinse the carrot.
- 7. Grate the carrot finely.
- 8. Place the mashed potatoes in a large bowl.
- 9. Add the flour.
- 10. Add the egg.
- 11. Add the chopped parsley.
- 12. Add the grated carrots.
- 13. Season the mixture with salt.
- 14. Season the mixture with pepper.
- 15. Season the mixture with paprika powder.
- 16. Season the mixture with oregano.
- 17. Mix all ingredients well together.
- 18. Preheat the non-stick waffle iron.
- 19. Take two to three tablespoons of batter.
- 20. Place the batter into the hot waffle iron.
- 21. Bake the waffle until golden brown.
- 22. Remove the finished waffle.
- 23. Repeat the process until six waffles are baked.
- 24. Get the yogurt ready.
- 25. Season the yogurt with salt.
- 26. Season the yogurt with pepper.
- 27. Season the yogurt with paprika powder.
- 28. Serve the seasoned yogurt together with the waffles.
