  2. 2. Cut the potatoes in half lengthwise.
  3. 3. Lightly grease a baking dish or a small baking sheet with oil.
  4. 4. Season the tray with a pinch of salt and freshly ground pepper.
  5. 5. Place the potato halves on the tray with the cut side facing down.
  6. 6. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  7. 7. Slide the tray into the center of the oven.
  8. 8. Bake the potatoes for 25 to 30 minutes until they are cooked through.
  9. 9. Meanwhile, whisk the sour cream with the broth until smooth.
  10. 10. Season the sauce with a little salt if necessary.
  11. 11. Wash the spring onions and trim off any dry tips.
  12. 12. Slice the spring onions into thin rings.
  13. 13. Put the peppercorns into a mortar.
  14. 14. Coarsely crush the pepper with the pestle.
  15. 15. Take the finished potatoes out of the oven.
  16. 16. Carefully lift the potatoes from the tray using a spatula.
