🍽️ Crispy Potato and Minced Meat Casserole

Ingredients
- 800 g potatoes
- 1 onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp herbs of Provence (dried)
- 500 g minced meat
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 0.125 l vegetable broth
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
- 2. Place them in a pot with boiling water seasoned with salt.
- 3. Cook the potatoes for about 20 minutes until tender.
- 4. Peel the cooked potatoes.
- 5. Slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
- 6. Peel the garlic.
- 7. Press the garlic directly into a bowl.
- 8. Mix the garlic with your favorite herbs.
- 9. Peel the onion.
- 10. Finely chop the onion.
- 11. Mix the chopped onion with the minced meat.
- 12. Add the egg, salt, pepper, and paprika powder to the meat mixture.
- 13. Stir everything well until it forms a homogeneous mass.
- 14. Grease the baking dish lightly with fat.
- 15. Shape a ring from the minced meat mixture around the outer edge of the dish.
- 16. Place the seasoned potato slices in the center of the ring in a shingle-like pattern.
- 17. Pour the vegetable broth over the potatoes.
- 18. Preheat the oven to 200 °C (or 180 °C fan-forced or gas mark 3).
- 19. Bake the casserole for about 25 to 30 minutes.
