🍽️ Heavenly Carrot Jam

Ingredients
- 3 cm fresh ginger
- 800 g carrots
- 3 unpeeled oranges
- 2 unpeeled lemons
- 500 g jam sugar (2:1)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the ginger and the carrots.
- 2. Grate the ginger and carrots finely.
- 3. Cut the oranges and lemons in half.
- 4. Squeeze the juice from the oranges and lemons.
- 5. Mix the fruit and vegetables with the ginger and sugar.
- 6. Place the mixture in a pot.
- 7. Let the mixture sit for about 1 hour.
- 8. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 9. Let the jam bubble and cook for 4 minutes.
- 10. Fill the hot jam into well-rinsed jars.
- 11. Seal the jars tightly.
- 12. Turn the jars upside down for about 10 minutes.
- 13. Let the jars cool down.
- 14. Place the jars upright again.
- 15. Let the jam cool completely.
- 16. Store the jam in a cool and dark place.
