  1. 1. Place the raisins, orange juice, and orange blossom water into a small pot.
  2. 2. Warm the mixture on the stove until it is hot.
  3. 3. Remove the pot from the heat and let the raisins soak in the liquid for about one hour.
  4. 4. Put the sesame seeds into a hot pan without adding any extra fat.
  5. 5. Toast the sesame seeds until they turn golden yellow.
  6. 6. Remove the toasted sesame seeds from the pan and let them cool down completely.
  7. 7. Peel the carrots.
  8. 8. Cut the carrots into thin strips or grate them finely.
  9. 9. Mix the lemon juice, honey, and oil in a bowl.
  10. 10. Fold the soaked raisins into the dressing mixture.
  11. 11. Add the prepared carrots to the mixture and stir everything well.
  12. 12. Season the salad with salt, cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.
  13. 13. Sprinkle the finished salad with the cooled sesame seeds.
  14. 14. Serve the salad immediately.
