🍽️ Tender Carrots with Lemon Caramel Flavor

Ingredients
- 5 Carrots
- 1 tbsp Butter
- Pepper
- Salt
- 0.5 tbsp Raw Cane Sugar
- 100 ml Vegetable Broth
- 1 dash Lemon Juice
- 2 sprigs Parsley
Instructions
- 1. Wash the carrots thoroughly and peel them.
- 2. Cut the carrots into round slices or long batons.
- 3. Heat some butter in a pan over medium heat.
- 4. Sauté the carrot pieces briefly in the hot butter.
- 5. Season the carrots with a pinch of pepper, salt, and sugar.
- 6. Mix everything well so that the spices adhere evenly.
- 7. Let the carrots caramelize slightly until they are golden brown.
- 8. Pour some broth over the carrots in the pan.
- 9. Add lemon juice and stir it in.
- 10. Cover the pan and let the carrots cook on low heat for 4 to 5 minutes.
- 11. Rinse the fresh parsley under running water.
- 12. Shake the parsley dry.
- 13. Pluck the small leaves from the stems.
- 14. Cut the parsley leaves into very fine strips.
- 15. Remove the pan from the heat if liquid remains and let it evaporate uncovered.
- 16. Sprinkle the chopped parsley leaves over the finished carrots.
- 17. Taste the carrots one last time and serve them warm.
