🥤 Fresh Cardamom Mint Tea

Ingredients
- 1 tsp cardamom pods
- 4 sprigs fresh peppermint
- 0.5 lime
Instructions
- 1. Roughly crush the cardamom pods in a mortar or a food processor.
- 2. Place the crushed pods in a pot and add 250 milliliters of water.
- 3. Bring the water with the pods to a boil.
- 4. Rinse the mint under running water.
- 5. Shake the mint dry.
- 6. Set aside one mint sprig for garnish.
- 7. Place the remaining mint into a tall glass or large mug.
- 8. Rinse the half lime with hot water.
- 9. Dry the lime with a kitchen paper towel.
- 10. Peel the lime zest in a spiral shape using a vegetable peeler.
- 11. Add about two-thirds of the lime zest to the mint in the glass.
- 12. Pour the hot cardamom infusion through a sieve into the glass.
- 13. Let the tea steep covered for 5 to 7 minutes.
- 14. Garnish the finished tea with the remaining mint and lime zest.
