  1. 1. Roughly crush the cardamom pods in a mortar or a food processor.
  2. 2. Place the crushed pods in a pot and add 250 milliliters of water.
  3. 3. Bring the water with the pods to a boil.
  4. 4. Rinse the mint under running water.
  5. 5. Shake the mint dry.
  6. 6. Set aside one mint sprig for garnish.
  7. 7. Place the remaining mint into a tall glass or large mug.
  8. 8. Rinse the half lime with hot water.
  9. 9. Dry the lime with a kitchen paper towel.
  10. 10. Peel the lime zest in a spiral shape using a vegetable peeler.
  11. 11. Add about two-thirds of the lime zest to the mint in the glass.
  12. 12. Pour the hot cardamom infusion through a sieve into the glass.
  13. 13. Let the tea steep covered for 5 to 7 minutes.
  14. 14. Garnish the finished tea with the remaining mint and lime zest.
