  1. 1. Mix the milk with the yeast and the sugar.
  2. 2. Let the mixture stand for about 10 minutes until it foams.
  3. 3. Put the flour, the salt, the flavors, the egg, and the butter into a large bowl.
  4. 4. Pour the yeast-milk mixture over the dry ingredients.
  5. 5. Knead everything into a smooth dough until it releases from the bowl.
  6. 6. If the dough is too soft, add a little more flour.
  7. 7. If the dough is too firm, add a little more milk.
  8. 8. Cover the bowl with a cloth.
  9. 9. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  10. 10. Grease the cake pan with butter.
  11. 11. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  12. 12. Melt the butter for rolling in a small pot.
  13. 13. Let the melted butter cool down slightly.
  14. 14. Mix the sugar with the cinnamon in a shallow dish.
  15. 15. Divide the dough into 4 to 5 equal pieces.
  16. 16. Work on a lightly floured surface.
  17. 17. Roll each piece of dough into a long rope.
  18. 18. Cut the ropes into small, equal-sized pieces.

  20. 20. Roll the balls first in the melted butter.
  21. 21. Then roll the buttery balls all around in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  22. 22. Layer the balls into the prepared pan.
  23. 23. Bake the dumplings in the oven for about 35 minutes.
