Ingredients
- 600 g chestnuts
- 1 vanilla pod
- 150 g sugar
Instructions
- 1. Score the chestnuts in a cross shape, place them on a baking sheet, and roast them at 250 degrees for 30 minutes. Peel the chestnuts completely afterwards.
- 2. Heat the sugar in a pan until it melts, stir in the scraped vanilla seeds, and caramelize the whole chestnuts in it.
