  6. 6. Blend the ingredients in the blender until a fine, smooth mixture forms.
  7. 7. Stir the buttermilk into the pureed mixture.
  8. 8. Season the soup with sugar, Tabasco, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to your taste.
  9. 9. Distribute the cold soup onto plates.
