Ingredients
- 1 veal shank
- 2 tbsp oil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Rub the veal shank generously with salt and pepper. Sear it in hot oil on all sides to seal the pores. Place the meat on a roasting rack in the preheated oven and braise it slowly at 120 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat for about 2 to 2.5 hours.
- 2. Remove the meat and let it rest briefly. Separate the meat from the bone and slice it. Serve with a fresh, mixed vegetable salad.
