🍽️ Juicy Veal Roast in an Oven Bag

Ingredients
- 800 g Veal Eye of Round
- Salt
- freshly ground white pepper
- dried oregano
- 3 Onions
- 500 g red bell peppers
- 125 ml dry white wine
- 125 ml whipping cream
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp paprika powder (sweet)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees.
- 2. Rinse the meat under running water and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Rub the meat evenly with the spices.
- 4. Peel the onions and chop them into coarse pieces.
- 5. Wash the bell peppers, dry them, and remove the inside.
- 6. Cut the bell peppers into thin strips.
- 7. Place the meat and the prepared vegetables together into the roasting bag.
- 8. Pour the wine over the meat and vegetables in the bag.
- 9. Seal the roasting bag tightly according to the package instructions.
- 10. Poke the top of the bag several times with a needle to allow steam to escape.
- 11. Place the bag on a cold rack.
- 12. Place the rack with the roast in the center of the preheated oven.
- 13. Roast the meat for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
- 14. Turn off the oven after the cooking time has elapsed.
- 15. Place the roast on a preheated platter and let it keep warm in the turned-off oven.
