🍽️ Fluffy Kaiserschmarrn with Fresh Strawberry Glaze

Ingredients
- 300 g strawberries
- 2 pinch vanilla powder
- 100 g spelt whole wheat flour
- salt
- 50 ml milk (3.5% fat)
- 6 eggs
- 1 tbsp butter
- 30 g raisins
- 1 tbsp liquid honey
- a handful of mint
Instructions
- 1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly.
- 2. Remove the green stems from the berries.
- 3. Cut the strawberries in half.
- 4. Set aside one small handful of the halved berries.
- 5. Place the remaining strawberries in a cooking pot.
- 6. Pour a small splash of water over the berries.
- 7. Place the pot over medium heat.
- 8. Cook the strawberries for 15 minutes.
- 9. Wait until the berries are soft.
- 10. Stir in a tiny pinch of vanilla powder.
- 11. Set the finished sauce aside.
- 12. Take a large bowl.
- 13. Put the flour into the bowl.
- 14. Add a pinch of salt.
- 15. Add the remaining vanilla powder.
- 16. Stir the dry ingredients briefly.
- 17. Pour the milk into the bowl.
- 18. Add the eggs.
- 19. Take an electric hand mixer.
- 20. Beat the batter until it is smooth.
- 21. Take a frying pan.
- 22. Heat the butter in the pan.
- 23. Pour the batter into the hot pan.
- 24. Sprinkle the raisins over the batter.
- 25. Cover the pan with a lid.
- 26. Let the batter cook over medium heat.
- 27. Wait for 3 to 5 minutes.
- 28. Carefully flip the batter.
- 29. Finish baking the Schmarrn for another 2 to 3 minutes.
- 30. Take two spatulas.
- 31. Shred the finished Kaiserschmarrn into small pieces.
- 32. Drizzle the Schmarrn with honey.
- 33. Serve the Schmarrn on plates.
- 34. Place the reserved strawberries on top.
- 35. Add the strawberry sauce.
- 36. Garnish the dish with mint leaves.
