🥤 Coffee Spritz Cookies

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp instant espresso powder
- 80 g ground hazelnuts
- 125 g butter
- 125 g powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 180 g flour
- 200 g dark chocolate coating
- 1 tsp instant espresso powder
- 1 coffee bean
Instructions
- 1. Warm the milk in a pot.
- 2. Stir the espresso powder into the warm milk.
- 3. Let the milk cool down completely.
- 4. Grind the nuts in the food processor again until they are very fine.
- 5. Beat the butter with the powdered sugar until fluffy.
- 6. Beat in the egg and the cooled espresso milk into the butter mixture.
- 7. Stir in the flour and the ground nuts into the mixture.
- 8. Fill the mixture into a piping bag fitted with a large star tip.
- 9. Pipe sticks or letters onto a work surface lined with baking paper.
- 10. Place the tray in the refrigerator for 3 hours.
- 11. Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
- 12. Carefully transfer the baking paper with the cookies onto a baking sheet.
- 13. Bake the cookies in the oven at 200 °C (Gas: Level 3) for about 15 minutes.
- 14. Let the cookies cool down completely.
- 15. Chop the chocolate coating roughly.
- 16. Melt the chocolate coating in a bowl over a warm water bath.
- 17. Stir coffee powder into the melted chocolate coating.
- 18. Dip half of the cookies into the chocolate coating or drizzle lines over them.
- 19. Decorate the cookies as you like with coffee beans.
