  1. 1. Warm the milk in a pot.
  2. 2. Stir the espresso powder into the warm milk.
  3. 3. Let the milk cool down completely.
  4. 4. Grind the nuts in the food processor again until they are very fine.
  5. 5. Beat the butter with the powdered sugar until fluffy.
  6. 6. Beat in the egg and the cooled espresso milk into the butter mixture.
  7. 7. Stir in the flour and the ground nuts into the mixture.
  8. 8. Fill the mixture into a piping bag fitted with a large star tip.
  9. 9. Pipe sticks or letters onto a work surface lined with baking paper.
  10. 10. Place the tray in the refrigerator for 3 hours.
  11. 11. Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
  12. 12. Carefully transfer the baking paper with the cookies onto a baking sheet.
  13. 13. Bake the cookies in the oven at 200 °C (Gas: Level 3) for about 15 minutes.
  14. 14. Let the cookies cool down completely.
  15. 15. Chop the chocolate coating roughly.
  16. 16. Melt the chocolate coating in a bowl over a warm water bath.
  17. 17. Stir coffee powder into the melted chocolate coating.
  18. 18. Dip half of the cookies into the chocolate coating or drizzle lines over them.
  19. 19. Decorate the cookies as you like with coffee beans.
