🥤 Creamy Coffee Egg Nog

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 200 milk
- 200 ml coffee (freshly brewed)
- 2 egg yolks
- 40 ml whiskey
- 1 tbsp orange peel
Instructions
- 1. Fill a pot with a little water and heat it until hot (do not let it boil). Place a heatproof bowl over the pot, making sure the bowl does not touch the water.
- 2. Add the egg yolks, powdered sugar, and rum into the bowl over the hot water.
- 3. Whisk the mixture with a whisk until it becomes pale and creamy.
- 4. Remove the bowl from the pot and set it aside.
- 5. Heat the milk in a small saucepan until it is hot.
- 6. Pour the hot milk into the hot coffee and stir.
- 7. Slowly pour the coffee-milk mixture into the egg yolk cream while stirring constantly.
- 8. Pour the nog into two glasses.
- 9. Garnish the drink with orange zest and serve immediately.
