🍽️ Thyme Cheese Sauce

Ingredients
- 400 ml vegetable broth
- 200 g double cream fresh cheese
- 150 g mascarpone
- 50 g parmesan (grated)
- 1 tsp thyme leaves (chopped)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- nutmeg
- cayenne pepper
Instructions
- 1. Bring the broth to a boil in a pot. Stir in cream cheese, mascarpone, and grated Parmesan. Simmer while stirring constantly until the cheese has completely melted.
- 2. Add the thyme and simmer the sauce with the lid on for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season the sauce with lemon juice, salt, pepper, ground nutmeg, and cayenne pepper.
