Ingredients
- 200 g Emmentaler
- 3 slices pineapple (from the can)
- 2 small red apples
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 150 g yogurt
- salt
- pepper
- 50 g chopped walnuts
- 2 tbsp grated walnuts
- basil (for garnishing)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the Emmental cheese into small cubes.
- 2. Take the pineapple out of the can and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
- 3. Wash the apples thoroughly.
- 4. Halve the apples and remove the core.
- 5. Cut the apple halves into thin wedges.
- 6. Drizzle the apple wedges with lemon juice immediately to prevent them from browning.
- 7. Put the yogurt into a small bowl.
- 8. Season the yogurt with salt and pepper.
- 9. Add one tablespoon of pineapple juice from the can to the yogurt.
- 10. Stir the yogurt mixture well until it is creamy.
- 11. Put the diced pineapple, apple wedges, and cheese cubes into a large serving bowl.
- 12. Pour the yogurt sauce over the fruit and cheese.
- 13. Toss everything gently until everything is evenly coated.
- 14. Let the salad marinate in the refrigerator for half an hour.
- 15. Finely chop the walnuts.
- 16. Finely chop the walnuts.
- 17. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts over the salad.
- 18. Mix the nuts briefly with the salad.
- 19. Pick fresh basil leaves.
- 20. Garnish the salad with the basil leaves.
