🍽️ Cheese fondue with bread, fruit and mushrooms

Ingredients
- 400 g Gouda (200 g each old + young)
- 100 g Leerdammer or Emmentaler
- 250 g dry white wine
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 200 g cooked ham (in one piece)
- 1 baguette
- 100 g button mushrooms
- 2 tbsp chive rings
- 250 g strawberries
Instructions
- 1. Cut the cheese into small cubes. Place the cheese, wine, lemon juice and cornstarch in the fondue pot. Melt the mixture over medium heat on the stove, stirring constantly. Season the fondue with salt and pepper.
- 2. Cut the ham into small, bite-sized cubes. Break the baguette into small pieces. Clean the mushrooms and halve or quarter them according to size, or leave them whole.
- 3. Remove the stems from the strawberries, wash them and pat them dry. Cut them into smaller pieces if necessary. Arrange all the prepared ingredients. Place the fondue pot on the rechaud (a small flame for keeping warm) and sprinkle the fondue with chopped chives.
