  1. 1. Thoroughly wash the bell peppers under running water.
  2. 2. Cut the bell peppers in half and remove the stem base.
  3. 3. Remove the seeds and the white inner membrane from the inside of the peppers.
  4. 4. Cut the pepper flesh into large chunks.
  5. 5. Peel the onion and remove the outer layers.
  6. 6. Roughly chop the onion.
  7. 7. Place the pepper chunks and onion pieces into the food processor or blender.
  8. 8. Add all other ingredients from the ingredient list.
  9. 9. Blend the ingredients until a completely smooth dip sauce forms.
  10. 10. Strain the dip sauce through a fine kitchen sieve to remove any fibers.
  11. 11. Season the dip with salt and pepper to taste if needed.
  12. 12. Serve the finished dip immediately.
