🍽️ Grilled Cheese and Mushroom Toast

Ingredients
- 4 medium country loaves
- 300 g Halloumi (cheese from Cyprus)
- 4 large button mushrooms
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 50 g cream cheese
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 0.5 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp chopped thyme
- 1 tsp chopped rosemary needles
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the cheese into four equal slices.
- 2. Clean the mushroom caps from dirt.
- 3. Brush the bread, cheese slices, and mushrooms with some oil.
- 4. Place everything on the hot grill and toast it.
- 5. Turn the ingredients once until they are golden brown.
- 6. Mix the cream cheese with lemon juice, paprika powder, herbs, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- 7. Finally, season the cream cheese mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- 8. Top each bread slice with one grilled mushroom cap.
- 9. Place a dollop of the cream cheese mixture on each mushroom.
- 10. Place a piece of the grilled cheese on top.
- 11. Grind fresh pepper over the finished toast.
