🍽️ Cheese and Chive Omelette

Ingredients
- 8 eggs
- pepper (from the mill)
- salt
- 200 g grated cheese (e.g. cheddar)
- 6 tbsp whipping cream
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- 2 tbsp chive rings
- butter (for frying)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius with top heat.
- 2. Whisk the eggs in a bowl.
- 3. Season the eggs with some pepper and a pinch of salt.
- 4. Mix the cheese with the cream and the herbs in a separate bowl.
- 5. Heat a frying pan over medium to high heat.
- 6. Add some butter to the hot pan and let it melt.
- 7. Pour half of the egg mixture into the pan.
- 8. Wait briefly until the eggs start to set on the bottom.
- 9. Spread one quarter of the cheese filling over half of the omelette.
- 10. Fold the omelette in half to enclose the filling.
- 11. Place the pan in the oven for about 5 minutes.
- 12. Bake the omelette until the cheese is melted.
- 13. Remove the pan from the oven.
- 14. Repeat steps 5 to 13 with the remaining egg mixture and cheese filling to bake three more omelettes.
- 15. Gently fold the finished omelettes.
- 16. Serve the omelettes immediately while warm.
