🍰 Crispy Cheese Pistachio Balls

Ingredients
- 250 ml water
- 100 g butter
- 1 pinch salt
- 150 g flour
- 4 eggs (size M)
- 100 g Emmental cheese
- baking powder
- 50 g chopped pistachios
Instructions
- 1. Put water, butter, and a pinch of salt in a pot.
- 2. Heat the mixture until the butter is completely melted.
- 3. Pour the flour into the pot all at once.
- 4. Stir immediately until a firm dough ball forms.
- 5. Continue turning the mixture in the pot until a white layer forms on the bottom.
- 6. Transfer the dough to a separate bowl.
- 7. Stir one egg into the dough.
- 8. Let the mixture cool down slightly.
- 9. Get the beaters of your hand mixer ready.
- 10. Stir the remaining eggs into the dough one by one.
- 11. Finely grate the Emmental cheese.
- 12. Mix the grated cheese with the baking powder.
- 13. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (Gas Level 3 or Convection 180 degrees).
- 14. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 15. Get two teaspoons ready.
- 16. Place small mounds of dough onto the sheet.
- 17. Leave some space between the mounds.
- 18. Stir the cheese-powder mixture and the pistachios into the dough.
- 19. Bake the balls for about 40 minutes.
