🍳 Cheese Omelette on Whole Grain Bread

Ingredients
- 60 g Alpine cheese (1 piece)
- 3 eggs
- 3 tbsp mineral water (with carbonation)
- 3 tbsp mixed herbs (frozen)
- salt
- pepper
- 150 g small red bell peppers (1 small red bell pepper)
- paprika powder (medium hot)
- 2 slices rye whole grain bread
Instructions
- 1. Grate the cheese finely.
- 2. Whisk the eggs in a bowl with mineral water and the herbs.
- 3. Season the egg mixture with salt and pepper.
- 4. Pour half of the egg mixture into a small non-stick frying pan.
- 5. Let the omelette set over low heat.
- 6. Sprinkle half of the cheese on top and let it melt.
- 7. Repeat the process with the remaining egg mixture and cheese to make a second omelette.
- 8. Halve the bell pepper and remove the core.
- 9. Wash the pepper and cut it into strips.
- 10. Dust the finished omelettes with paprika powder.
- 11. Serve the omelettes on the whole grain bread.
- 12. Garnish the dish with the pepper strips.
