🍽️ Goat Cheese and Basil Layers

Ingredients
- 200 g goat cream cheese
- 150 g mascarpone
- 80 g basil
- 75 ml olive oil
- salt
- white pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Whisk the goat cream cheese and mascarpone together in a bowl until smooth.
- 2. Wash the basilica thoroughly and shake off excess water.
- 3. Carefully pluck the basil leaves from the stems.
- 4. Place about one-third of the cheese mixture into a jar.
- 5. Top the cheese layer with the basil leaves.
- 6. Season the layer with a pinch of salt and freshly ground pepper.
- 7. Drizzle a little olive oil over the layers.
- 8. Spread another layer of cheese cream on top.
- 9. Repeat steps 4 to 8 until all ingredients are used up.
- 10. Let the jar sit in the refrigerator for a full day to allow the flavors to meld.
- 11. You can store the layers in the refrigerator for up to one week.
