🍽️ Creamy Potato and Cheese Mash

Ingredients
- 1 kg potatoes
- 2 garlic cloves
- 50 g butter
- 3 tbsp milk
- 600 g young Cantal
Instructions
- 1. Peel the potatoes and rinse them under running water.
- 2. Cut the potatoes into small, even cubes.
- 3. Peel the garlic clove and add it to the potatoes.
- 4. Place the vegetables in a pot and cover them with salted water.
- 5. Cook the potatoes over medium heat for about 25 minutes until tender.
- 6. Drain the cooking water.
- 7. Mash the potatoes with butter and milk into a smooth puree.
- 8. Grate the cheese finely.
- 9. Stir the cheese into the warm puree.
- 10. Melt the mixture over low heat while stirring with a wooden spoon.
- 11. Continue cooking until the puree is creamy and uniform.
- 12. Season the puree to taste.
- 13. Serve the puree warm.
