🍽️ Cheese Vegetable Casserole

Ingredients
- 400 g sliced cheese (e.g. Madrigal Président)
- 200 g tomatoes
- 1 red bell pepper
- 50 g butter (in slices)
- 8 eggs
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 4 red chili peppers
- paprika powder
- 2 tbsp chive rings
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- 2. Grease four ovenproof casserole dishes with some fat.
- 3. Cut the cheese into small cubes.
- 4. Distribute the cheese cubes evenly in the dishes.
- 5. Wash the tomatoes.
- 6. Remove the inside of the tomatoes.
- 7. Cut the tomatoes into cubes.
- 8. Clean and wash the peppers.
- 9. Remove the skin of the peppers.
- 10. Cut the peppers into cubes.
- 11. Place the cut vegetables on top of the cheese.
- 12. Add half of the butter over the vegetables.
- 13. Bake the casseroles for 12 minutes on the top rack of the oven.
- 14. Whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt.
- 15. Pour the egg mixture over the vegetable-cheese mixture.
- 16. Place one chili pepper in each dish.
- 17. Add the remaining butter.
- 18. Sprinkle everything with a pinch of paprika powder.
- 19. Bake the casseroles for another 12 to 15 minutes in the oven.
- 20. Take the casseroles out when the surface is golden brown.
- 21. Garnish the finished casseroles with chive rolls.
