  1. 1. Cut the different types of cheese into evenly sized cubes.
  2. 2. Wash the grapes and tomatoes thoroughly and pat them dry with a kitchen towel. Cut the dates in half lengthwise and remove the pits.
  3. 3. Thread the Gouda and Emmentaler cubes, halved dates, and grapes alternately onto four wooden skewers.
  4. 4. Thread the tomatoes and the remaining cheese cubes onto the other four wooden skewers.
  5. 5. The skewers are now fully assembled and ready to be served immediately.
