🍽️ Fresh Tomato Sandwiches with Quark Cream

Ingredients
- 2 tomatoes
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 lettuce leaves
- 2 whole wheat rolls
- 3 tbsp quark
- whipping cream
- parsley
- 2 tsp mustard
- 2 slices Gouda
Instructions
- 1. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Slice the tomatoes into thick rounds.
- 3. Season the tomato slices with black pepper.
- 4. Wash the lettuce leaves under cold water.
- 5. Pat the lettuce leaves dry with a kitchen towel.
- 6. Split the buns horizontally into two halves.
- 7. Place the quark into a small bowl.
- 8. Add the chopped parsley to the quark.
- 9. Add a spoonful of cream.
- 10. Stir the mixture until smooth and creamy.
- 11. Stir mustard into the quark mixture and blend well.
- 12. Spread the quark cream onto the cut surfaces of the bun halves.
- 13. Place the dry lettuce leaves on the bottom bun halves.
- 14. Distribute the cheese slices over the lettuce.
- 15. Place the seasoned tomato slices on top of the cheese.
- 16. Cover the sandwiches with the top bun halves.
