🍽️ Creamy Cheese and Pear Dip

Ingredients
- 4 slices toast bread
- 0.5 firm pear
- 5 spring onions
- 250 g ripe Camembert (room temperature)
- 250 g cream cheese
- 3 tbsp whipping cream
- 20 ml Williams Christ pear brandy
- salt
- cayenne pepper
- ground cumin
- brown butter
Instructions
- 1. Cut off the crusts from the toast bread.
- 2. Cut the remaining bread pieces into very small cubes.
- 3. Heat butter and oil in a pan.
- 4. Fry the bread cubes until golden brown over medium heat.
- 5. Place the finished croutons on a kitchen towel to absorb excess fat.
- 6. Peel the pear.
- 7. Remove the core of the pear.
- 8. Cut the pear flesh into very small cubes.
- 9. Trim and wash the spring onions.
- 10. Cut the spring onions into thin rings.
- 11. Cut the Camembert into small pieces.
- 12. Put the Camembert into a bowl.
- 13. Add cream cheese, cream, and pear brandy.
- 14. Stir the mixture until creamy.
- 15. Fold in the pear cubes into the cheese mixture.
- 16. Fold in the spring onion rings into the cheese mixture.
- 17. Season the spread with salt.
- 18. Season the spread with cayenne pepper.
- 19. Season the spread with cumin.
- 20. Add a little of the browned butter.
- 21. Fill the mixture into a serving bowl.
- 22. Sprinkle the spread with the croutons.
