🍽️ Crispy Cod Cutlets with Chili Garlic Oil

Ingredients
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 large chili pepper (washed)
- 4 cod chops (200 g each)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 200 ml olive oil
- 1 bunch parsley
- oil (for frying)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic cloves and slice them thinly.
- 2. Slice the chili pepper into rings, including the seeds.
- 3. Season the cod cutlets generously with salt and pepper.
- 4. Heat about half of the olive oil in a casserole dish.
- 5. Fry the fish cutlets briefly on both sides until golden brown.
- 6. Heat the remaining olive oil in a second pan.
- 7. Fry the garlic slices and chili rings in the hot oil.
- 8. Place the fried garlic and chili mixture over the fish cutlets.
- 9. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- 10. Finish cooking the fish cutlets in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes.
- 11. Pour the hot oil over the cutlets repeatedly during the cooking time.
- 12. Pluck the parsley leaves.
- 13. Fry the parsley leaves briefly in hot oil.
- 14. Drain the fried parsley leaves well on kitchen paper.
- 15. Serve the finished fish cutlets with the parsley and fresh white bread.
