  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
  2. 2. Brush a baking dish with some oil.
  3. 3. Remove any wilted leaves from the Brussels sprouts.
  4. 4. Cut a small cross into the stem end of each Brussels sprout.
  5. 5. Boil the Brussels sprouts in salted water for about 5 minutes.
  6. 6. Immediately shock the Brussels sprouts with cold water.
  7. 7. Let the Brussels sprouts drain well.
  8. 8. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
  9. 9. Cut the tomatoes into quarters.
  10. 10. Remove the seeds from the tomatoes.
  11. 11. Place the Brussels sprouts and tomatoes into the prepared dish.
  12. 12. Rinse the cod under running water.
  13. 13. Pat the cod dry with kitchen paper.
  14. 14. Place the cod on top of the vegetables in the dish.
  15. 15. Season the cod and vegetables with salt and pepper.
  16. 16. Drizzle some lemon juice over the cod.
  17. 17. Mix the cream with the eggs and the grated cheese.
  18. 18. Season the cream mixture again with salt and pepper.
  19. 19. Pour the cream mixture evenly over everything.
  20. 20. Bake the gratin in the oven for about 30 minutes.
  21. 21. Remove the gratin from the oven when it is golden brown.
  22. 22. Sprinkle the finished dish with fresh parsley.
  23. 23. Serve the gratin hot.
