🍽️ Tender Lamb in Herb Broth

Ingredients
- Salt (from the mill)
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 6 tbsp olive oil
- 6 garlic cloves
- 1 bunch thyme
- 4 bay leaves
- 6 sage leaves
- 200 ml white wine
- 1 jar (400ml) lamb stock
Instructions
- 1. Rub the lamb meat generously with salt and pepper.
- 2. Heat some olive oil in a large casserole dish.
- 3. Brown the meat on all sides.
- 4. Rinse the garlic cloves but do not peel them.
- 5. Briefly rinse the herbs and pat them dry.
- 6. Add the garlic and herbs to the hot fat.
- 7. Let the aromas sweat in the fat for a short time.
- 8. Deglaze the meat with white wine.
- 9. Add the lamb broth.
- 10. Braise the meat in the preheated oven at 200 degrees (convection: 180 degrees, gas: level 2-3) for 90 minutes.
- 11. Season the sauce to taste with salt and pepper at the end.
