Ingredients
- 1 kg Jostaberry
- 1 kg Cologne jam sugar
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the jostaberries.
- 2. Let the berries drain well in a colander.
- 3. Place the berries in a pot and add about 250 milliliters of water (per kilogram of berries).
- 4. Heat the mixture while stirring constantly until it has boiled briefly.
- 5. Strain the juice through a cloth or sieve and let it drip.
- 6. Measure exactly 1 liter of the drained juice.
- 7. Add 1 kilogram of pectin sugar to the juice.
- 8. Let the mixture boil vigorously for 4 minutes while stirring.
- 9. Fill the hot jelly immediately into clean jars.
