  1. 1. Rinse the raspberries and strawberries under running water.
  2. 2. Remove the green stems from the strawberries.
  3. 3. Cut the strawberries into small cubes.
  4. 4. Place the raspberries, strawberry cubes, lemon juice, 100 milliliters of water, and sugar into a pot.
  5. 5. Bring the mixture to a boil on the stove.
  6. 6. Let the mixture simmer gently over low heat for three minutes.
  7. 7. Remove the pot from the heat.
  8. 8. Let the berry mixture cool down completely.
  9. 9. Beat the egg whites in a clean bowl until stiff peaks form.
  10. 10. Press the cooled berry mixture through a fine sieve into a metal bowl to remove the seeds.
  11. 11. Stir the liqueur into the filtered berry mixture.
  12. 12. Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the berry mixture using a spoon.
  13. 13. Pour the finished mixture into a freezer-safe container.
  14. 14. Let the sorbet freeze in the freezer for about four hours.
  15. 15. Stir the mixture occasionally while it freezes to make it creamy.
  16. 16. Fill the finished sorbet into individual glasses.
  17. 17. Garnish the ice cream as you like with fresh, sugared berries.
  18. 18. Serve the sorbet immediately.
