  6. 6. Wash the jars and lids with very hot water.
  7. 7. Let the water drain from the jars.
  8. 8. Place the pot with the fruit mixture on the stove.
  9. 9. Heat the mixture over high heat.
  10. 10. Stir constantly.
  11. 11. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  12. 12. Wait until the entire mixture is bubbling vigorously.
  13. 13. Let the jam boil vigorously for four minutes.
  14. 14. Continue stirring during this time.
  15. 15. Fill the hot jam to the brim into the prepared jars.
  16. 16. Seal the jars immediately.
