  3. 3. Remove the stems from the berries.
  4. 4. Place the berries with 500 milliliters of water into a pot.
  5. 5. Boil the mixture for 15 minutes.
  6. 6. Wait until all the berries have burst.
  7. 7. Line a large sieve with a moist jelly bag.
  8. 8. Place the sieve over a large pot.
  9. 9. Pour the berry mash into the sieve.
  10. 10. Let the juice drip through slowly.
  11. 11. Squeeze the remaining berries in the cloth.
  12. 12. Let the juice cool down completely.
  13. 13. Measure out 1.3 to 1.5 liters of juice.
  14. 14. Mix the juice with jam sugar.
  15. 15. Place the mixture in a large pot.
  16. 16. Heat the mixture over high heat.
  17. 17. Stir constantly.
  18. 18. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  19. 19. Boil the jam vigorously for 4 to 6 minutes.
  20. 20. Continue stirring while you cook.
  21. 21. Remove the pot from the heat.
  22. 22. Rinse the jars with hot water.
  23. 23. Fill the jam to the brim into the hot jars.
  24. 24. Seal the jars immediately with lids.
  25. 25. Transfer any leftovers into a jar or bowl.
  26. 26. Garnish the leftovers with fresh berries.
  27. 27. Serve the jam for breakfast.
