🍽️ Strawberry Yogurt Ice Cream with Fresh Basil

Ingredients
- 200 g strawberries
- 50 g sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 200 g Greek yogurt
- 2 egg whites
- 1 handful basil
- Basil (for garnishing)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly.
- 2. Remove the green stems and cut the berries into small pieces.
- 3. Place the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice into the blender.
- 4. Blend the mixture until it forms a smooth puree.
- 5. Stir the yogurt into the strawberry mixture.
- 6. Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- 7. Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the yogurt mixture.
- 8. Pour the mixture into the ice cream maker.
- 9. Freeze the ice cream according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- 10. Wash the basil leaves in the meantime.
- 11. Shake off excess water from the basil.
- 12. Pluck the leaves off the stems.
- 13. Chop the basil leaves finely.
- 14. Wait until the ice cream reaches a soft-serve consistency.
- 15. Add the chopped basil leaves to the ice cream maker.
- 16. Continue freezing the ice cream for about 5 more minutes.
- 17. Spoon the ice cream into small bowls.
- 18. Garnish the ice cream with fresh basil leaves.
