  1. 1. Switch the oven to the grill setting and preheat it.
  2. 2. Slice the ciabatta bread horizontally in half.
  3. 3. Divide the two halves into manageable pieces.
  4. 4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cut surfaces of the bread slices.
  5. 5. Rinse the rocket (arugula) under running water.
  6. 6. Remove any thick stems or wilted leaves from the rocket.
  7. 7. Distribute the prepared rocket over the bread slices coated with cheese.
  8. 8. Wash the bell peppers thoroughly.
  9. 9. Cut the bell peppers in half lengthwise.
  10. 10. Remove the inside of the peppers, including seeds and membranes.
  11. 11. Cut the pepper halves into thin strips.
  12. 12. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  13. 13. Place the pepper strips on the tray with the skin side facing up.
  14. 14. Brush the peppers evenly with the oil.
  15. 15. Place the tray under the grill.
  16. 16. Grill the peppers for about 5 minutes.
  17. 17. Remove the tray as soon as the pepper skin starts to blister.
  18. 18. Distribute the grilled pepper strips over the ciabatta slices.
  19. 19. Season the buns finally with salt and pepper.
  20. 20. Serve the ciabatta immediately while warm.
