🍽️ Stuffed Turkey Cutlets with Tomato and Mozzarella

Ingredients
- 125 g Mozzarella (9 % fat)
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 sprigs basil
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 800 g turkey cutlets (approx. 1.5 cm thick, 4 turkey cutlets)
- salt
- pepper
- 2 tbsp balsamic cream
Instructions
- 1. Take the mozzarella out of the package and let it drain well.
- 2. Cut the mozzarella into small cubes.
- 3. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
- 4. Remove the hard stem ends from the tomatoes.
- 5. Remove the seeds from the tomatoes.
- 6. Dice the tomato flesh finely.
- 7. Wash the basil leaves.
- 8. Shake the basil dry to remove excess water.
- 9. Cut the basil leaves into thin strips.
- 10. Place the diced tomatoes into a small bowl.
- 11. Add the mozzarella cubes to the same bowl.
- 12. Add the basil strips to the bowl.
- 13. Add one tablespoon of olive oil to the vegetable and mozzarella mixture.
- 14. Mix all ingredients in the bowl well together.
- 15. Season the mixture with salt.
- 16. Season the mixture with pepper.
- 17. Take a sharp, pointed knife.
- 18. Cut a small pocket into each turkey cutlet.
- 19. Fill the tomato and mozzarella mixture into the cut pockets of the cutlets.
- 20. Take small wooden skewers.
- 21. Secure the open ends of the cutlets with the wooden skewers.
- 22. Take the remaining oil.
- 23. Brush the stuffed turkey cutlets with the oil.
- 24. Season the surface of the cutlets with salt.
- 25. Season the surface of the cutlets with pepper.
- 26. Place the cutlets on a grill pan.
- 27. Preheat your grill.
- 28. Grill the cutlets on the hot grill.
- 29. Grill the cutlets for about 8 to 10 minutes on the first side.
- 30. Turn the cutlets over.
- 31. Grill the cutlets for another 8 to 10 minutes on the second side.
- 32. Take the finished cutlets off the grill.
- 33. Drizzle some balsamic cream over the grilled cutlets.
