🥤 Fresh Ginger Limeade

Ingredients
- 125 g fresh ginger
- limes (2 each, unwaxed)
- oranges (2 each, unwaxed)
- 200 g sugar
- ice cubes
- soda or mineral water
- mint
Instructions
- 1. Peel the ginger and grate it finely.
- 2. Thinly peel the limes and oranges with a vegetable peeler.
- 3. Squeeze the fruits and collect the juice.
- 4. Bring 1 liter of water with the sugar to a boil in a pot.
- 5. Add the grated ginger to the boiling water.
- 6. Let the mixture continue to boil for 1 minute.
- 7. Place the citrus peels and juice into a jug.
- 8. Pour the hot ginger water over the fruits in the jug.
- 9. Let the mixture cool down.
- 10. Place the covered jug in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
- 11. Strain the lemonade through a fine sieve before serving.
- 12. Fill some ice cubes into the glasses.
- 13. Pour the lemonade juice over the ice.
- 14. Dilute the juice with some mineral water to taste.
- 15. Garnish the drink with mint and serve.
