  1. 1. Peel the ginger and grate it finely.
  2. 2. Thinly peel the limes and oranges with a vegetable peeler.
  3. 3. Squeeze the fruits and collect the juice.
  4. 4. Bring 1 liter of water with the sugar to a boil in a pot.
  5. 5. Add the grated ginger to the boiling water.
  6. 6. Let the mixture continue to boil for 1 minute.
  7. 7. Place the citrus peels and juice into a jug.
  8. 8. Pour the hot ginger water over the fruits in the jug.
  9. 9. Let the mixture cool down.
  10. 10. Place the covered jug in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
  11. 11. Strain the lemonade through a fine sieve before serving.
  12. 12. Fill some ice cubes into the glasses.
  13. 13. Pour the lemonade juice over the ice.
  14. 14. Dilute the juice with some mineral water to taste.
  15. 15. Garnish the drink with mint and serve.
