  1. 1. Peel the ginger and grate it finely.
  2. 2. Thinly peel the lime and the orange using a vegetable peeler.
  3. 3. Squeeze the lime and collect the juice.
  4. 4. Bring 1 liter of water and the sugar to a boil in a pot.
  5. 5. Add the grated ginger to the boiling water.
  6. 6. Let the mixture boil for 1 minute.
  7. 7. Place the citrus peels and the lime juice into a jug.
  8. 8. Pour the hot ginger water over the peels and juice.
  9. 9. Let the mixture cool down.
  10. 10. Place the covered jug in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
  11. 11. Strain the lemonade through a fine sieve before serving.
  12. 12. Add one tablespoon of ice to each glass.
  13. 13. Add one slice of lime and one slice of orange to each glass.
  14. 14. Top up the glasses with mineral water to taste.
