🍰 Hedgehog Apples with Plum and Almond Filling

Ingredients
- 4 Apples
- 100 g Almond slivers
- 5 tbsp Plum puree
- 10 Plum puree
- 50 g Marzipan
- 1 Egg yolk
- 1 Pinch Cinnamon
- 4 Almond kernels
- Butter (for the dish)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the apples thoroughly.
- 2. Dry the apples with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Remove the cores of the apples generously using a corer.
- 4. Grate the marzipan finely.
- 5. Mix the grated marzipan with the plum puree and the egg yolk until smooth.
- 6. Chop the plums finely.
- 7. Fold in the chopped plums and the cinnamon into the marzipan mixture.
- 8. Insert almond slivers into the sides of the apples all around.
- 9. Lightly grease a baking dish.
- 10. Place the studded apples side by side in the prepared dish.
- 11. Distribute the plum-marzipan filling onto the apples.
- 12. Place one whole almond in the center of the filling on top of each apple.
- 13. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius.
- 14. Bake the apples in the preheated oven for about 25 to 30 minutes.
- 15. Remove the apples from the oven.
- 16. Plate the warm apples.
- 17. Serve the apples hot.
