  1. 1. Wash the chicken and pat it dry. Cut it into finger-thick strips. Peel the carrot, wash it, and cut it into small sticks. Wash the leek, trim the ends, and slice it into thin rings. Wash the parsley and chop it finely.
  2. 2. Bring the broth to a boil with the lemon juice and saffron. Add the chicken, vegetables, and noodles. Let the mixture come to a boil once and cook for about 12 minutes until the noodles are al dente. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with parsley.
