Ingredients
- 500 g chicken liver
- 2 onions (sliced into rings)
- salt
- pepper
- 100 ml broth (as needed)
- 1 sprig of sage
Instructions
- 1. Hold the chicken livers under cold running water.
- 2. Dry the liver pieces thoroughly with kitchen paper.
- 3. Melt the butter in a frying pan.
- 4. Add the onions to the hot butter.
- 5. Sauté the onions for a short moment.
- 6. Place the chicken livers into the pan.
- 7. Season the liver with salt and pepper.
- 8. Fry the liver for about 15 minutes.
- 9. Shake the pan regularly while frying.
- 10. Add a little broth to the pan if needed.
- 11. Place the sage sprig in the pan shortly before finishing.
