🍽️ Warm chicken broth with swede

Ingredients
- 500 g Swede
- 3 Carrots
- 1 Onion
- 1 Garlic clove
- 1 tsp Rapeseed oil
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 900 ml Poultry broth
- 1 stalk Leek
- 400 g Chicken breast fillet
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped Parsley
- Chervil (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the swede, carrots, onion, and garlic.
- 2. Cut the swede into small pieces and then into bite-sized slices.
- 3. Slice the carrots.
- 4. Finely chop the onion.
- 5. Keep the garlic whole.
- 6. Sauté the onion and garlic in oil.
- 7. Add the swede pieces and carrots.
- 8. Season with salt and pepper.
- 9. Pour in the broth.
- 10. Let the soup simmer quietly for about 10 minutes.
- 11. Wash and clean the leek.
- 12. Cut the leek diagonally into rings.
- 13. Wash the chicken breast and pat it dry.
- 14. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
- 15. Add the leek and chicken to the soup.
- 16. Let everything cook through for about 10 minutes.
- 17. Add more broth if necessary.
- 18. Add the parsley.
- 19. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- 20. Serve the soup garnished with chervil.
